When I think about being a Permanent Deacon, a job comes to mind. A Waiter! He is preparing the Lord's Table, working hard to make sure everything is just right. His mission is to take care of the guests by helping them go through the menu and make just the right choices. How can I help you today!!

Hearing the call of the Holy Father
Recently Fr. Kyle announced that after careful thought and much time in prayer our parishes will once again manage the food pantry. This apostolate brings it all back full circle, as Father stated. It all began many years ago in St. Kieran's parish under the watchful guidance of Sr. Monique. Our Holy Father has implored us to be faithful to the Gospel and care for the poor. Upon inspiration from the faithful army of Sisters who educated so many people, the pantry will be called the Mother Rivier Food Pantry. At our first informational gathering, Father shared how she cared so much for the total well being of all, but especially the poor. Please pray as we embark on this journey to care for Christ's children.
